Is it Christmas in July?

I had a wonderful surprise when I stepped outside this morning to let Alley, Harley, and Rip the three dachshunds, outside. It felt like fall had dropped in on us! Fall is my favorite! Nice break for an Arkansas July.

I also had a nice surprise in the mailbox yesterday. All the way from England came 2 beautifully crocheted granny squares from one of my swaps! She also included 3 beautifully handmade stitch markers. I think this was a wonderful idea. The colors in the squares are vibrant and I can hardly wait to put these together with many other squares from around the world! Getting these little packages in the mail is like receiving Christmas gifts all year. If you don’t know me, Christmas is truly the most wonderful time of the year for me. I try to make all year Christmas in many ways.

Just a note, I am still working on my first Dotee doll. She is my blue haired Granny Dotee. As soon as she is complete, I will post pictures.

I will post pictures of my button swap as soon as I get ready to send it off.

Until I post again…happy crafting!
