Dream Catcher

I tried my hand at making a dream catcher last night. I will be putting this in a package for a swapper friend in Finland. She had stated that she liked dream catchers. I first watched a couple of videos on youtube and researched a bit about them. I then went to my yard and cut some vine that is all cute and has those curly things on it and made a “sort of” circle. I crocheted with thread something that looked like a doily. The thread had gold glitter thread through it. I added a bead while I was crocheting this because the bead should represent a spider. I attached the doily by crocheting it on the circle. I cut pieces of material in strips and tied them on. I cut ribbon and tied that on. I added beads and bobbles also. I could not forget the feather because the feather represents the bird that will carry the bad dreams away. Ok, I admit, her dreams won’t fly away with this dream catcher, because my feather is an ostrich feather… I guess they will have to walk or run away!  Let me know what you think.
