Baby Blanket and July Instagram Swap

Top of the morning to everyone! It is Friday and I feel wonderful! I don’t know what it is about Friday but it always gives me a sense of renewal like anything is possible and there is time to accomplish things. The sad thing is I get all these ideas of things I might do over the weekend and then get very few of them accomplished by Sunday night and I am left kind of disappointed with myself. Oh well, there is always another Friday.

Here is the chevron baby blanket that I made for some very dear friends of mine. I tried putting his name on it and I must say I need to practice on that. It didn’t turn out so good. I do love the grey and yellow together.

For my Instagram Swap Group, I completed my July swap. It was for two six inch squares. My partner is a lady in England who is making a Christmas blanket and requested red, white, or green. I went with red and white. I couldn’t stop at two squares and ended up making her 9 squares! I am sticking in patterns for two of them and a few items from my area and a few I think she will like from reading her profile. I wonder how long it takes for a package to arrive in England? I guess I will find out. Anywhoooo…here is a picture of 4 of the squares.

I hope your day is filled with sunshine and happiness. I hope you accomplish at least one thing you would like to accomplish this weekend! Happy crafting!
